Our Story
Founder Dustin Mayer has spent more than 20 years working with aquatic life, aquarium systems, and the people who enjoy them. His aquarium career began in 2001 at a local pet store, where an early interest in tropical fish, small business and customer service quickly became a professional path.
Aquatic Compositions was founded in 2020 to combine that technical experience with an artist’s eye, a service-first commitment, and the belief that living environments can bring therapy, art, education, and wonder into everyday spaces.
